Christmas is coming up fast and you’re probably looking for a gift for that cider lover in your life. Ria from Cider Chat, the US-based cider podcast, and I have had a chat about what cider books we would recommend and some that we are hoping to read soon.
Ok, so there are going to be a lot of links here today. First and for most please going and have a listen to the podcast and hit Subscribe. Or listen here
We have 3 cider books that we would be recommending are as follows.
World’s Best Cider by Pete Brown and Bill Brown. This book is wonderfully written by Pete Brown and the photograph by Bill Brown will mean that it’s never far from your coffee table. This book if one of the biggest reasons by I started writing about cider. If you’re getting into cider this is a great place to start.
Booze Empire is a new release that I’m yet to read but I’m hoping it’s under my Christmas Tree, hint hint. This one covers the history of IPA beer traveling to India to how the English glass makers invented a glass strong enough to enable fizzy drink like cider and champagne
And Ria’s recommendation is another from the UK. This is a journey through Dorset and it’s cider history.
What books will you be reading this holiday period? Leave your tips in the comments.
